Al-Bassam and Co. replaced Nawar and Co. in 1987. Nawar and Co. had been operating in Kuwait since 1960. Sadeq Al-Bassam was previously a partner at Nawar and Co. When the owner resigned, Sadeq Al-Bassam took over the business. Al-Bassam and Co. provides local, Gulf-based and international clients with comprehensive and personalized services in accounting and auditing, taxation, advisory services and general financial and management consulting.
